Toxic Cigarettes .... Quit Smoking....

Did you know that a single cigarette contains over 400 toxic chemicals? Let's take a look at what is actually inside each one. For starters they contain nylon, embalming fluid, weed killer, paint stripper and plastic as ingredients. That doesn't sound too tasty, and that is only a hand full of the 400 chemicals. When you pickup a food product from the supermarket, you most likely look at the ingredients that it contains before you decide to make a purchase. Things that you are most likely to look for are saturated fats, aspartame or perhaps peanuts if you have an allergy. It is a little strange that you don't do the same thing when picking up a packet of cigarettes at the supermarket as well. You see a warning that "smoking kills" or a gruesome picture showing the affects of what smoking can do, but there isn't a section on the pack listing the ingredients. Actually, the pack would be too small, they would have to attach a little booklet to each packet.

You have heard that smoking causes cancer, but you are probably not sure how that happens. It is due to the number of chemicals that have the capability of causing cancer, they are called carcinogens.
